How to Become Notified of an Ozone Action DayPhone HotlineThe Ozone Action Hotline is available 24 hours a day with up-to-date information about the Ozone forecast for West Michigan. Ozone Action Hotline: 1-800-656-0663 E-mail NotificationThe West Michigan Clean Air Coalition, in conjunction with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) EnviroFlash network, will notify all interested participants when an Ozone Action day has been forecasted by MDEQ meteorologists. A notification will be sent via e-mail on the afternoon before an Ozone Action day. Notifications are also sent on weekends and holidays. The service is especially helpful for people who are at greater risk from air pollution, including children, older adults, and people with heart or lung diseases.
